High Voltage Projects

Brandenberg Industrial Service Company

Design-build 15,000-volt service and distribution system serving four buildings on a 200-acre site. Highlights included:

    • Installed complete new distribution system prior to de-energizing existing 480 volt utilities
    • Installation took place while the heavy demolition salvage operation was ongoing and coordination and safety were critical
    • Responsible for design and installation including all documentation

Haverford College

Relocated campus high voltage distribution system including the 13 KV loop and 5 KV loop. Relocated and re-fed four transformers. Project included complete electrical and fire alarm system for a new 130,000 square foot athletic center. Highlights included:

    • Relocated campus high voltage loops
    • Scheduled all shutdowns and tie-ins to minimize campus shutdowns
    • New athletic center was a Leed certified installation

Buzzi USA Unicem, Inc.

New 35,000-volt overhead distribution system to serve cement quarry substation. Project highlights include:

    • Over 4,000 feet of pole line
    • Project to be completed in eight weeks
    • Project to be completed with Diefenderfer labor – no subcontractors used
